How does the school platform ensures the safety of my child?

Microsoft Office for Education is a an education suite as opposed to the profesional one.  

1.  The school acts as the data controller under GDPR, and Microsoft is the data processor. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(e) GDPR  as the use of Microsoft Teams supports the delivery of education mandated by the Ministry. Also, data processing is governed by a Data Processing Agreement between the Ministry and Microsoft, ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements. 

2. Microsoft Teams is part of the official Microsoft 365 Education suite adopted by the Ministry of Education to enable secure online learning, collaboration, and communication. This policy ensures continuity of education and provides a safe, managed environment for students and teachers.  

3. Microsoft applies strict policies to limit unnecessary data exposure:  For example, profile visibility is limited to classmates and teachers.  Data retention follows Ministry guidelines and is regularly reviewed.
